HOMESTEAD TAX RELIEF GRANT
Taxpayers should now be receiving their 2023 property tax bills showing an HTRG credit for those who have a homestead exemption.
The HTRG credit amount is showing incorrectly due to an error with the printing company. The HTRG amount should read $529.31 in lieu of $543.71.
This DOES NOT affect the calculation of your bill. The bill totals are correct and reflect a credit of $529.31.
The HTRG amount is determined by calculating 18,000 by the County and School millage rates.The printing company will be mailing out corrected bills for your records. Tax bills reflecting the correct HTRG credit may also be printed from our website at www.leegatax.com.
